Stand in the way of our own light was born from my journey through Morocco, where the richness of patterns and the depth of blues echoed my own inner exploration. In life, I realized how often we become our own obstacle — building walls of fear, doubt, or silence that keep us from shining.
This painting carries the memory of that moment of truth: the awareness that light is never outside of us, but already within. The Moroccan motifs, both protective and open, symbolize the balance between tradition and liberation, between the structures we inherit and the freedom we create for ourselves.
