Dreaming, Australia was born from a deep inner calling—to return to what is essential, beyond noise, beyond time.

This piece draws inspiration from the Aboriginal concept of Dreamtime (Le Temps du rêve), the sacred origin story of the world. In Aboriginal culture, Dreamtime is the primordial era during which supernatural ancestral beings emerged from the earth or sky to shape the land, animals, and all living things. These beings are intrinsically connected to natural elements—rivers, rocks, trees, and creatures—and continue to live through the land, stories, and traditions passed down through generations.

But Dreamtime is not just a story of the past.
It represents a timeless, sacred continuum where the past, present, and future coexist.
A space of deep interconnection, where spirit, nature, and humanity are one.

In discovering this philosophy, I felt something awaken in me.
I realized how far I had strayed from that sense of unity.
I had been seeking meaning outside of myself—in rituals, landscapes, books, and silence.
But the Dreamtime reminded me: the sacred is already within.

Creating Dreaming, Australia was a way of listening to that call.
The patterns, textures, and colors echo Aboriginal visual storytelling, where painting becomes a form of transmission—of wisdom, memory, and guidance.
Each line is a path. Each layer, a voice.
And through them, I began to reconnect with my own essence, the part of me that had always known.

This artwork invites the viewer to do the same:
To walk back toward the invisible.
To remember that nature is not separate from us.
That the stories of the land are also stories of the soul.

Dreaming, Australia is not only a tribute to Aboriginal cosmology.
It is a mirror—a reflection of our own longing to belong, to listen, to live in harmony with what is timeless and true.
It reminds us that peace, connection, and wisdom are not things to be found—they are things to be remembered.
