She Was the Moon and She Was the Sun: Embracing All Our Parts
Share
🌙 The Mask We Wear
For years, I learned how to smile in the daylight while carrying storms inside.
On the outside, I looked “perfect”—strong, radiant, in control. But inside, I was tightly bound to my fears, my wounds, and a body that felt heavy with unspoken pain.
This is the persona, the mask we believe we must wear to be accepted. A mask that shines in the light of day while hiding the prison of suffering within.

☀️ The Inner Awakening
Everything began to shift when I stopped silencing my inner world.
When I gave importance to my emotions, to my shadows, to my fragile parts—something cracked open.

Despite the apparent darkness, I discovered a strength I had not known before—the power to spread my wings, to rise, and to give meaning to life.

🌗 The Union of Shadows and Light
I realized that I am not just one side of myself.
I am both:
The Moon — my fragility, my doubts, my unhealed wounds.
The Sun — my joy, my creativity, my inner light.

And when both embrace each other, there is no longer division—only wholeness.

🌸 Blossoming Into Essence
The more I loved all my parts, the more life blossomed.
From wounds, flowers emerged. From silence, creativity flowed.

“She was the moon and she was the sun.” This painting is a declaration of reconciliation—between shadow and light, reality and dreams, the broken and the whole.

🌌 A Message for You
We are all guided by something bigger.
When we stop hiding, when we embrace both our night and our daylight, creativity and freedom flow naturally.

You are both. The wound and the healing. The moon and the sun.
And when you love all your parts, life reveals its deepest meaning.
🌿 Conclusion
Art has changed my life—it allowed me to accept, to heal, to reunite.
And I believe it can change yours too.
